Tokyo 2014 Day 0

Although its been two whole years since this trip happened but I recently just finally finished making my travel scrapbook diary, so I thought I'll take this opportunity to write a complementary blog to go with it too :)

Heres a little look back at my first Tokyo city sightseeing before I visit again in July!!

HAHA so excited.

This is actually my 3rd time visiting Japan, but the first two times have only been theme parks and not of sightseeing. This is the first time I am not travelling with my whole family, just solely me and my mom, like a girls date, so everything was new for me.

okok enough talking let's start!

As always, we are taking my favourite Japan Airlines.

The windows on the plane fades darker every time you click the buttons, whatever happened to the blinds lol?

I still think the in JAL in flight meals are the best, this time, they gave us an Island Farms vanilla ice cream for dessert! Yum.

While browsing through the catelogue on the TV screen, I encoutered a manga section.. what?!

They even have English versions haha.

Andddd we're here!!

At the station connecting the airport to the city we found this.

It's a vending machine!

A touchscreen vending machine whaaat, how high tech is that?

*only in Japan*

Some foreigner out of all the people standing around decided to ask us for directions... like why us..

& we told him the wrong facts HAHA oh well we're visitors too.

Then aboard the N'EX train, off to Shinjuku!

Woop~ the ride is about an hour or so, the weather was great and the view refreshing.

We can see the Sky Tree from afar :DD

By the time we arrive at our hotel it's already dinner time, so we dropped off our luggage and headed to a the supermarket near Shinjuku station on the look out for some delicious food!
