Japan 2016 - Tokyo Arrival

Seems like such a short time since I just caught up writing my Japan adventures in 2014, and I'm back again!

This time with our whole family, we are visiting not only Tokyo, but Kyoto and Osaka as well :D

This time we are taking the airport express train N'ex as well, it's the most convenient way rather than transferring on and off multiple rides.

We spotted the famous (if you remember from my previous Japan blog) high tech vending machine, so of course I needed to try it out.

It wasn't that big of a deal actually, but just a cool experience I guess.

The left one is a Nigata pear cider, and on the right is a melon jelly drink. The melon drink was so refreshing and delicious, melon jelly in every sip!

Since in total we have 5 people on this trip, airbnb was a cheaper option for accommodations. We've decided to stay in Shinagawa right by the station.

When we finally arrived, it was already dinner time, so we figured supermarket food is what we're having!

If you have never tried, I highly recommend browsing through their supermarkets especially during night time. They often give discounts on their products so they wouldn't have to throw the leftovers out and waste the food.

And I know, supermarket food does not sound that appealing, but trust me, it is surely a treat! You will be surprised and the amount of variety there.
